Zero Calorie foods contain less calories than your body burns in order to chew and digest them.

This is a myth. Bullshit, even.
Calories burned by your body during the process of eating and digesting foods are already considered when calculating the Thermic Effect of Food (TEF). TEF usually takes up about 10% of foods, while some can reach up to 20%. This means that if the piece of celery you’re eating contains 8 calories, your body will use up 2 of those calories while processing it. That’s all.
“Zero calorie” or “negative calorie” foods just mean that the total calories are negligible. You are NOT actually burning fat or getting rid of excess calories by eating this stuff. There is an incredibly low chance that you’re hitting “even” with this stuff, let alone burning more than the food contains.
There is no such thing as a food that will burn more calories than it possesses. That means no Zero calorie nor negative calorie meals. That means there is no losing fat through eating certain foods.
Eat these foods if you want to, but they are not magical. Eating them will not inherently help you lose weight or step into a healthy lifestyle - This is not a shortcut.
